Centre For Women's Justice Marks #IWD2022 with us at Gracy's, Malta

Olwyn Foundation, in partnership with Times of Malta and Gracy’s Arts and Supper Club, was delighted to invite human rights lawyer Harriet Wistrich, founder of Centre for Women’s Justice, to attend an online talk about How The Law Can Better Support Women, to mark International Women’s Day 2022. Around 60 invited guests attended the event. Harriet was introduced by Olwyn founder Samantha Rowe-Beddoe. Guests listened to Harriet discussing the work of CWJ and specifically the research into how the UK law could and should better support women survivors of domestic abuse who offend. The talk and Q&A where Maltese lawyers and those involved with the protection of women asked a series of in-depth questions was followed by a lunch hosted by Gracy’s.
